Since this homeowners house bakes in the sun, he elected to upgrade to the Atlas Pristine Sun line. This shingle has cooling granules embedded into it. This allows the roof to help reflect the suns UV rays which in return keeps the interior of the home much cooler! Now that’s cool! 😎

Mark and his team is great. After some weeks of rain saw gutter damage and I called and Mark came right out to check out the roof. Did an inspection as well very professional. Local company and he looks out for his customers.
I can't say enough about Mark and 1st Defense. I compared them with several other local companies and found Mark to be the most responsive and honest. Others tried to get me to replace items (plywood on roof and chimney cap) that were unnecessary. Marks prices were more than reasonable and his quality of work was superior.
