My garage roof was redone some 20 years ago. The roofer that did the job failed to install a protective boot around the electrical mast that runs through the roof soffit. The wood around the mast rotted and allowed the mast to move out of position. Consumers Power had to disconnect/reconnect the electricity so repairs could be made.
