Above roofing contracted another roofing company to to do our roof who were very unprofessional. They left a pile of roofing nails and debris in our garage, and did a poor job at cleaning up nails around the house. Also they left empty water bottles and other trash. There was also a few miscommunications between Above roofing and the contracted company, which was a hassle to deal with. Beyond all that, they did do a good job at installing the shingles.

Exactly the kind of experience you hope for when hiring professionals. They tore off, repaired and reroofed my garage, house, animal barn and pole barn. There are flower gardens and animals around the buildings and I was concerned about smushed plants or stray nails in pets or livestock feet. Not to worry! Had it not been for the beautiful new roofs, I would not have known they were here. Not one leaf was damaged and no debris was left behind. Amazing job and lovely people. I have recommend... They did our house in Rockford and what a mess. They quoted a price and when they started ripping and tearing, many sins were found deep under the 4 layers of roofing shingles. They were awesome in helping us keep our heads on. It is was clear they had to do the right thing and when it was done it was more than quoted, but we felt very fair. And it was done right, and even on time in spite of the extra layers and rotting wood under it.

Above Roofing was just fantastic when they replaced my roof in 2020. A complete tear off, (2 layers), and all new replacement roofing in less that 7 hours. The area was policed for nails and debris before they left, and I couldn't find anything that they missed on the cleanup. The person that gave me the initial estimate was friendly and professional and the installation crew was just awesome. You can tell they worked as a team. I would highly recommend Above Roofing for your roofing needs.
