Our Rheem A/C was purchased and installed by Alaskan. We had a maintenance contract with Alaskan. We did not realize at the time (it was in fine print on the reverse side of our contract). that Alaskan, not Rheem warranteed the unit. It was portrayed to us us that the Alaskan maintenance contract was for discount on labor and gave us 2 annual checkups.
