I have to admit I am a little disappointed with how my latest service issue has progressed. I typically like working with Alaska AC because I have always felt their technicians are better qualified and more highly skilled vs some other AC service shops. Called him out for an AC service issue they diagnose the problem as a blown motor then wanted $3700 to replace the motor. I went on the roof took a picture of the motor serial number looked it up paid $390 for the motor picked it up undid two plugs and three bolts and had it reinstalled and working in 20 minutes.

Their claim to fame is coming out the same day or the repair is free. Cool, I called them and they came the same day. I expected a higher cost for service since you pay for convenience. The condenser fan needed to be replaced ($200 part) and my coils needed cleaning. I was floored when the guy quoted me $2400 for both. He wanted $1100 to change the motor and $1300 to clean my coils. Unreal Alaskan Air, unreal. I would not recommend anyone in Tucson use them.
