We also understand your concerns regarding the workmanship warranty, and we’d like to provide some additional context for both you and future homeowners reading this. Our goal has always been - and will always be - transparency and standing behind our work. Regarding when the workmanship warranty begins: - The warranty becomes active upon final payment, which is standard across the construction industry. However, this does not mean we don’t stand behind our work during the project. Any installation-related issues that arise during the build process are addressed immediately as part of the job itself - not deferred or denied. Regarding workmanship coverage and interior damage: - Our workmanship warranty is designed specifically to cover installation-related issues with the roofing system. The interior damage cap is in place to encourage homeowners to notify us quickly if something arises so we can address it before it escalates. That said, in practice, we have never had a workmanship-related warranty situation where a homeowner was left paying out of pocket for a legitimate issue. When something is on us, we show up and make it right. Regarding warranty conditions: - Items such as third-party alterations (solar, satellite, or other penetrations) and basic maintenance requirements are included to protect the integrity of the roofing system. Once other parties modify the roof, we can no longer guarantee performance in those areas. These guidelines are consistent with both manufacturer requirements and standard industry practices. It’s also important to highlight that every roof we install includes not only our lifetime workmanship warranty, but also a non-prorated manufacturer warranty through CertainTeed, which covers material defects - giving homeowners two layers of protection. As part of our process, we provide homeowners with detailed information prior to entering into a contract, including a digital brochure that outlines our installation practices and includes a sample copy of our workmanship warranty. I have personally reviewed our records and confirmed that this information was provided to you prior to contract execution. This allows every client the opportunity to review the full scope of coverage and ask any questions before making a decision. Transparency has always been a core value of our company. There’s often a misconception that a shorter or simpler warranty provides better protection. In reality, the true value of a warranty comes down to the company behind it. Our lifetime workmanship warranty is designed to cover installation-related issues for the life of the roof, but more importantly, we have built our reputation on showing up and taking care of our customers when it matters - not hiding behind fine print. While warranties are written to define boundaries, our reputation has been built on something much simpler: When there’s a problem, we show up and take care of our customers.
