Ascent was the first of 3 companies contacted to estimate the job and respond with a detailed presentation of the proposal. We delayed accepting the proposal until the other 2 companies responded. Their initial price was the highest of the 3, but was reduced to the middle price which was mostly the same in terms of scope and materials. The thing that makes them stand out is the involvement of senior management ( Brent and Steve ) in every step of the process. Of the three companies we contacted, Steve Spaulding with Ascent Roofing provided the most thorough inspection of our roof and attic to determine what we needed. Steve spent the most time with us to explain his findings, and what options we should consider.
