We asked Basement Waterproofing Specialists to come out and look at our water issue in the basement. We were given a price to install a French drain system in the basement (the most costly option) and a second price to put a French drain system on the exterior. They explained that doing the outside is never a guarantee to fix the problem but if we did the inside French drain it should definitely alleviate our water issues (this is how we understood the sales pitch anyway).
