I badly needed a basement waterproofing system, so I did my own research of what the job required, and how it would be done. I then contacted no fewer than 6 vendors for discussions and estimates. What I noticed was each vendors assessment varied somewhat - whether it be a full perimeter system vs. a 75% perimeter system, one sump pump vs. 2 sump pumps, etc. There was also a variation on what materials would be used by different vendors.
