This week we wrapped up a sump pump installation for a Bloomfield homeowner who was dealing with recurring basement water during heavy rain.
Like many homes in Bloomfield, groundwater was building up beneath the basement slab. When that pressure has nowhere to go, water pushes in through floor seams and foundation joints — usually right when the weather turns bad.
