7/18/25 update: Bath Fitter returned and reinstalled the shower. The height of the base is now just over 2" and we are pleased with the reinstall. Our score has been updated to 3 stars. If the initial install would have been done like the reinstall, our initial score would have been higher. Original review: We were surprised that no one from Bath Fitter called us after our install.
