Brenda, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry this portion of the project left you disappointed, especially knowing how important the quality of the finished project was to you. We do want to provide some additional context. The existing gutter system and rain diverter were not installed by BulletpROOF. As a general practice and industry standard, we do not remove or manipulate another contractor’s work without the previous contractor’s authorization or the homeowner’s specific request, as doing so can affect an existing warranty. Our contract also addresses the handling and optional removal and resetting of existing gutter systems. When this concern was brought to our attention, we spoke at length with your husband, Kevin, and offered to remove the gutter, replace the affected fascia, redo the drip edge, and reinstall the gutter, all at no additional cost. Kevin initially agreed, but later called us back and let us know that he was comfortable with the finished project and no longer wanted the additional work completed. We respected his decision. We understand why the original detail raised a concern and never want a customer to feel that we’ve cut corners. We were prepared to address the concern fully and at our expense, and we appreciate the opportunity to provide some additional context.
