I can only comment on the consultation. I found Coastal to have a quality product that beat their competitors prices. I will also add Rob and Jay were quite thorough in the scoping of our project. They combed every inch of the exterior and in a no pressure fashion showed me issues with the exterior of my house and how they would address it. Brendan and Theo were awesome! They were professional, on time, and respectful. I was actually quite impressed by how knowledgeable Brendan was and the immense patience that they both had. The initial visit was a bit long, but it was because we went over various iterations of the exterior door of my home since my "dream" door was actually quite expensive. To reply to your feedback, regarding decision makers, I will speak with my staff, because it was no intent to say that a woman cannot make a decision because clearly as a woman owned-business I do not agree with that! We are powerful, smart, and can definitely make decisions on our own! As you noticed with your custom door, a lot of questions arise, so we like to have all people present we can address all of your and your home’s needs. To ensure we do our best job, we find it helpful to involve all interested parties in the design process involved where it be a spouse, family member or significant other it helps as people have different questions regarding color, energy efficiency, style, glass packages, grid patterns. Having all interested parties involved is essential, as it allows us to address different questions and considerations everyone may have, so we can ensure a comprehensive discussion during the appointment.
