No matter how good their service may be, in this day and age if a company (woman-owned no less!) requires that the husband be present to give an estimate -it sends the message that "little wifey" isn't competent enough to make her own decisions. I realize that it's a good business decision to ask that both be present, but to refuse to make an appointment unless both are is mind-boggling. What do military spouses do? I'll never work with a company that has that policy.
