Part of my barn roof was severely damaged by the high winds in Ellensburg. I learned the standard three-tab asphalt shingles put on the roof over 20 years ago are no longer in production and unavailable at the large home building stores. Finding Columbia Plateau Roofing on-line, I spoke with Dan Schilperoort, Sr. Project Manager, who didn't hesitate to help. "No problem, we have a few three-tab shingles bundles to make your repairs."

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience! We know how challenging Ellensburg's winds can be on a roof, especially one that's been around for a while. We're glad we had some of those hard-to-find three-tab shingles available and could help you get your barn roof back in shape. At Columbia Plateau Roofing, we believe in helping people find the right solution for their situation, even when a new roof isn't in the budget. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to the opportunity to work with you again when the time comes!
Our experience with Columbia Plateau Roofing was top notch, from Mike the salesman, to Dan the owner, to Jose's amazing crew and Zack the Project Manager.
Dan was great at keeping us informed about scheduling and accommodating a last minute color switch.
We are very happy with the 50yr St Gobain CertainTeed Northgate Climate Flex shingles, the Gust Guard system, and the 30yr workmanship warranties, the meticulous job Jose's crew did and the cleanup.
Thank you so much for the great review! We really appreciate you trusting our whole team with your home. I’m especially glad we were able to accommodate the last-minute color change and keep everything moving smoothly. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words along to Mike, Zack, Jose and the crew!
Columbia plateau was a pleasure to work with start to finish. Zack was very knowledgeable and kind. Mundo and the crew were fast and tidy. The job was completed ahead of schedule and looks great!! Thank you all!
Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure serving your family.
We recently had our 30+ year old roof replaced and chose Columbia Plateua. The work was completed and we are very happy with how it went. Some comments on the overall process:
- the pre-sale piece with Mike was very helpful and provided detail of what the process would be, about how long it might take and a breakdown of the materials (including options) that would be used
- during the install, the crew was professional and courteous and at the end of each day, the debris was cleaned up. We rec... Read more
