SCOPE OF WORK (Local & California Plumbing Codes included for reference):

 - Installation of new water heater at existing water heater location.

 - Connect existing exhaust vent to water heater vent hood; ensure vent is supported, if needed, and all vent connections are fastened w/ 3 vent screws (CPC 503.3) *Price is subject to change if additional materials/modifications are required*

 - Installation of a new brass water shut off valve on the cold-water line (if needed) (CPC 606.2)

 - Installation of new 1” dielectric stainless steel flexible connectors on the cold & hot water lines.

 - Insulate up to 5ft of the cold & hot water lines (not required in a conditioned space) (150 (J) 2)

 - Installation of a 4.4 gal. thermal expansion tank; secured/fixed to wall (CPC 608.2 & 3)

 - Installation of brass electrical bonding clamps on the cold-water line, hot water line & gas line, connecting all 3 brass bonding clamps using 6-gauge copper wire to aid in the prevention of electrolysis (not required on PEX plumbing systems) (EC 250-104 a,b)

 - Installation of uni-strut system & seismic straps (upper, middle & lower) to prevent horizontal displacement in the event of an earthquake (CPC 507.2)

 - Installation of a new temperature & pressure relief valve (CPC 608.5)

 - Connect to existing drain line for temperature and pressure relief drain; ensure drain line is terminating at an approved location (CPC 608.5) *Price is subject to change if additional materials/modifications are required*

 - Installation of a new 1/2” brass gas shut off valve, 1/2” gas sediment/debris trap & 1/2” x 24” flexible powder coated stainless steel gas connector (CPC 1211.5 / 1212.8)

 - Installation of an aluminum drain pan beneath water heater (CPC 507.5) - Installation of up to 5ft of 3/4” PVC drain line from the aluminum drain pan to an approved location (CPC 507.5) *Price is subject to change if additional materials/modifications are required*

 - Cover existing water heater stand w/ sheet metal & angle iron (if applicable)Collect: $5,818.00
