Partial repipe of home plumbing using PEX tubing to replace damaged or outdated pipes in specific areas, improving water flow and reliability.


Price to repipe bathroom on the first floor and the bathroom above it.

Replace water line going to 2 toilets, 3 lavi sinks and one shower. Laundry sink angles stops are connected to lavi sink lines and those will be replaced as well. Down stairs shower will be left alone.

Open ceiling in hallway and bathroom to run new 1/2 pex lines. No copper will be left in that room as it will be sealed after work is done. Fire sprinklers are in the ceiling be aware when cutting. Lines will be ran to second floor with new angle stops and supplies. Existing shower valve will be left alone. Access panel will be placed behind tune so be mindful of cuts as the wall is wallpapered. Nail plates will be added to stubs that have our pex lines going past them.


Location: downstairs and upstairs bathroom.

Tasks:

Assessment and Preparation:

1. Inspect existing plumbing to identify areas for repipe.

2. Shut off main water supply to home.

3. Set up work area with drop cloths and tools (PEX crimper, pipe cutter).


Pipe Removal:

1. Cut out damaged or outdated pipe sections (e.g., galvanized, copper).

2. Dispose of old piping per local regulations.

3. Cap open lines to prevent debris entry.


PEX Installation:

1. Route new PEX tubing (1/2-inch or 3/4-inch, per demand) through walls or floors.

2. Install PEX fittings (crimp or push-fit) and manifolds as needed.

3. Secure PEX with clips or straps per code, avoiding sharp bends.


Testing:

1. Turn on water supply and pressure-test new lines for leaks.

2. Run water through fixtures to verify flow and pressure.

3. Inspect all connections with leak detector solution.


Cleanup and Final Steps:

1. Wipe down work areas and remove debris.

2. Dispose of old materials per local regulations.

3. Conduct client walkthrough to demonstrate functionality.


Notes:

- PEX offers flexibility and corrosion resistance; scope based on assessment.

- Wall or floor access repairs quoted separately.

- Advise client to test for asbestos, mold, etc via third party

- Estimate valid for 60 days from issuance

- Includes permit fees (if required)

- Unforeseen issues or additional work will be quoted separately with client approval

- Exclusions: Drywall, paint, stucco, tile, concrete, stone repairs, or existing water damage

- Duration: 1-2 days, 1-2 technicians
