Scope of work :


- set up plastic containment in areas where work will be preformed

- cut drywall open to expose manifolds

- shut water off to house

* turn power off to circulation pump in garage

- drain system down

- cut open manifold to confirm leaking line

- run fish tape to confirm end of line

- cap line off and turn water back on

- run new PEX line through attic

- strap PEX line along is pathway

- rebuild manifolds to abandon old line in slab and feed new line over head

- shut water off and drain system down

- switch system over

- allow PEX to rest prior to pressure test

- to water on and pressure test for leaks

- purge system of air

- double check meter to ensure there are no secondary leaks

- purge circulation system of air before turning power back on to pump

- clean up work area once job is complete Reroute material list :


House is very clean !!!


Start job with opening drywall underneath en-suite lavatory sink ( bed room where cats are at ) and preform drop down test after cutting open manifold. Make sure circulation pump to water heater in garage is turned off to avoid burning up pump. Fish tape line to confirm manifold. Picked up manifold in hallway near guest and in bedroom where incoming water to house is located.

After re-route of two lines there is still water loss in system during drop down test. Water main and 1” cold line in closet on en-suite bedroom is reading over 100 decibels with leak detection equipment.

Digging up existing 3”- clean out access approximately 2.5’ deep

Expose 3” ABS line

Installing 2 way clean out access using PVC for any future problems the line can be cleared from outside

Once native soil is backfilled will install a 8”Christy box


HYDRO SCRUB


After clean out is installed will need to hydro scrub through clean out access going upstream and downstream to clear debris and build up in sewer line.

Follow up camera will be in leaded in work
