Recall for 11/20 ; He is saying there is deflections that weren’t there but I tried to show him it was like that before but we don’t have a good picture. There are definitely tiles that could be layed down better, he should have changed that brown valley because the original scope was for both sides of the tile reset but the owner can’t see it. The mastic globs on the tile do not look good so if he can shave them down and get the tiles interlocking we should be good. I told him I’m not sure when we can get someone back but I would let him know. If you can schedule me to come back when Samuel is coming back so I can show him everything, the guy is stressed but nice with me. Localized repair of a damaged section of mainline sewer to restore function without full replacement.

Location: interior powder bathroom

Tasks: set up containment, runners to protect flooring, fan to blow out dust, jackhammer,

Preparation:

1. Perform camera inspection to pinpoint damaged sewer section.

2. Mark excavation site and obtain necessary permits.

3. Set up work area with barriers, trencher, and tools (pipe cutter).

Excavation:

1. Dig trench to expose damaged sewer section (depth per code).

2. Cut out damaged pipe segment (PVC, clay, or cast iron).

3. Inspect adjacent pipe for additional damage.

4. Once sewer line is cut please camera inspect sewer line again to see the condition of the sewer piping!

Spot Repair:

1. Install new PVC pipe segment with couplings or transition fittings.

2. Secure connections with solvent weld or mechanical clamps per code.

3. Ensure proper slope (1/8-1/4 inch per foot) for drainage.

Testing:

1. Perform hydrostatic test to check for leaks at repair site.

2. Run water through home fixtures to verify drainage.

3. Conduct camera inspection to confirm repair integrity.

Cleanup and Final Steps:

1. Backfill trench and restore surface (quoted separately).

2. Dispose of damaged pipe per local regulations.

3. Conduct client walkthrough to demonstrate sewer functionality.

Sales-Jimmy Conejo home services will open up section of drywall 10 to 12 feet in kitchen area to gain access to original cast-iron material that has a fracture all the way down vertical pipe.

Once removed we will install scheduled 40 PVC material from upstairs fixtures to footing downstairs in kitchen.

After scope of work has been performed, we will screw back sections of drywall that were removed, but cannot be held responsible for any type of painting, patching or texture to walls.

Job includes a five-year warranty on repair
