​This project involves the interior trenching and installation of a new 3/4" polyethylene gas line system. The work requires precision cutting of existing wood flooring and cautious excavation of a post-tension concrete slab to facilitate the new line. Conejo Services will manage the transition from underground piping to existing galvanized fixtures, followed by backfilling and a rough concrete patch to restore the subfloor integrity.

Scope of Work

​Demolition & Prep: Precision saw-cut wood flooring at designated areas to allow for trenching access.

​Concrete Excavation: Jackhammer concrete over the post-tension slab to create a trench from marked locations inside the home.

​Trenching: Excavate a trench to a depth of 18"–24" as required for gas line clearance.

​Gas Line Installation: Supply and install a new 3/4" polyethylene gas line.

​Risers & Connections: Install transition risers and connect the new line to existing exposed galvanized piping.

​Protection: Sleeve the pipe appropriately and install tracer wire for future utility locating.

​Restoration: Backfill the trench with original dirt and apply a rough patch concrete finish to the floor.

While Conejo Services provides a comprehensive rough-in, the following finish services are strictly excluded from this specific scope of work:

​Flooring: Final repair, replacement, or refinishing of wood planks.

​Drywall: Patching, sanding, or painting of walls or ceilings.

​Baseboards: Removal, reinstallation, or painting of trim.

​Cabinets: Removal, modification, or resetting of cabinetry.

​Stucco: Any exterior wall repairs or finish matching.

​Provider: All warranty claims are serviced directly through Conejo Services.

Disclaimers

​Post-Tension Slab: While every precaution is taken during jackhammering, the homeowner acknowledges the inherent risks of working on a post-tension slab.

​Dust & Debris: Concrete cutting and jackhammering are high-dust activities. While we use dust mitigation, some settlement is to be expected.

​Matching: Rough concrete patching is intended for structural closure only and will not be a "finished" or decorative floor surface.

​Existing Pipes: Conejo Services is not responsible for the integrity of existing galvanized piping beyond the point of new connection.
