SCOPE OF WORK (California Plumbing Codes (CPC) included for reference):

• Installation of new tankless water heater.

• Installation of 2” or 3” PVC exhaust vent to an approved location (CPC 701 - 705/503.2 & 503.3)

• Installation of a new shut off valve on the cold water line (CPC 606.2)

• Installation of isolation valves on the tankless water heater for future servicing.

• Installation of new 3/4” dielectric stainless steel flexible connectors on the cold & hot water lines.

• Insulate up to 5ft of the cold & hot water lines (150 (J) 2)

• Installation of a thermal expansion tank (CPC 608.2 & 3)

• Installation of electrical bonding clamps on the cold water line, hot water line & gas line, connecting all 3 using 6 gauge copper wire to aid in the prevention of electrolysis (250-104 a,b)

• Installation of uni-strut; mounting the tankless water heater to the proposed location

• Installation of pressure relief valve with a 3/4” copper drain line ran to an approved location (CPC 608.5)

• Installation of a new 3/4” gas shut off valve, gas sediment trap & 3/4” x 24” flexible gas connector to water heater (CPC 702/1212.9)

• Installation of a condensate neutralizer (CPC 307)

• Installation of a 3/4” PVC condensate drain line to an approved location (CPC 307)

• Installation of Noritz control panel at water heaters location for future diagnostic purposes.

• Cover existing water heater stand w/ sheet metal & corner caps (if applicable).

WARRANTY INFORMATION:

• Conejo Plumbing & Rooter: 3 years for parts & labor.

• Manufacturer warranty:

- 1 year labor

- 5 years parts

- *15 years replacement on heat exchanger when the product is used for a single family dwelling (with pre-heated or circulated water).

- **25 years replacement on the Heat Exchanger when used in a single family dwelling (without pre-heated or circulated water).

NOTE: Warranty starts on the date of proper Installation of the product, or 30 days after the date of purchase of the product, whichever occurs first, and is effective until the expiration of the “Warranty Period” for the particular product component.

* An aquastat is the minimum pump control requirement in order to maintain the full recirculation warranty. Panel upgrade to 200amp (overground) + We will be fixing the wiring in the garage due to exposed fishscale romex. Only the wiring that is exposed is getting reran, anything in conduit is good to stay. There is also an extension used to power a motion sensor flood light that will get re ran.
