Sales-KevinFlange replacement and cutting roots back as far back as possible.

Localized repair of a damaged section of mainline sewer to restore function without full replacement.

Location: downstairs hall bathroom

Tasks:

Preparation:

1. Set up containment to prevent dust build up, and lay runners on the flooring for protection

2. Mark excavation site and obtain necessary permits.

3. Set up work area with barriers, trencher, and tools (pipe cutter).

Excavation:

1. Dig trench to expose damaged sewer section (depth per code).

2. Cut out damaged pipe segment (PVC, clay, or cast iron).

3. Inspect adjacent pipe for additional damage.

Spot Repair:

1. Install new PVC pipe segment with couplings or transition fittings.

2. Secure connections with solvent weld or mechanical clamps per code.

3. Ensure proper slope (1/8-1/4 inch per foot) for drainage.

Testing:

1. Perform hydrostatic test to check for leaks at repair site.

2. Run water through home fixtures to verify drainage.

3. Conduct camera inspection to confirm repair integrity.

Cleanup and Final Steps:

1. Backfill trench and restore surface (quoted separately).

2. Dispose of damaged pipe per local regulations.

3. Conduct client walkthrough to demonstrate sewer functionality.

Notes:

- Targets specific sewer damage to avoid full line replacement.

- Surface restoration or extensive damage repairs quoted separately.

- Advise client to schedule periodic camera inspections.

- Estimate valid for 60 days from issuance

- Includes permit fees (if required)

- Unforeseen issues or additional work will be quoted separately with client approval

- Exclusions: Drywall, paint, stucco, tile, concrete, stone repairs, or existing water damage

(Note) to install crew task is to cut open a 12” x 12” hole around the flange, carefully breaking tile and concrete and to avoid chipping any surrounding tiles, expose waste line piping and cut back roots as far as possible, replace 4” pvc flange, pour 4 bottles of root killer around the affected area, wrap waste line with plastic and Christy’s tape, back fill with sand.

Pick up and install new western pottery toilet 12” rough and put back customer supplied bidet toilet seat back on new toilet
