From the start to finish we were very pleased with Craftsmen Home Improvements. The process to obtain the initial estimate was easy, the salesman was helpful, no high pressure sales tactics, and he answered all of our questions. He suggested the Richlin Vinyl windows because we wanted something maintenance free. They are built in Hayfield, MN and we like to use local companies so we went with that. CHI did an exceptional job replacing windows and a storm door. The cluster of 7 windows is in a brick-cladded wall, with curved oak trim on the interior. The result is beautiful--the new trim matches perfectly. What most impressed us was how careful and thorough everyone was. The crew worked together to come up with the best way to handle problems. For example, the storm door hardware didn't fit right, so they came back an extra morning to modify the wood framing. Overall, they did what was need... Read more

Craftsman helped us with our modern farmhouse remodel (built in '78) by installing 10+ Marvin fiberglass windows & doors (2021) and installing James Hardie board/batten siding, black gutters, soffits, and fascia (2023). As you can see, the result is fantastic. Tom and Jim were the foremen for the window/door, Ray and Luis were the foremen for the siding, Matt for gutters, Erik and Jim for sales.
