We hired Craftsmen for a big job including a new roof (and all that a new roof on an old house entails), soffits and fascia, gutters and insulation replacement. We were also instructed- wisely, I believe- to replace the chimney at this opportune moment. We have just passed the soffit and fascia stage, and thus far the work on the house looks fantastic. I hired Craftsmen Home Improvements to replace the existing siding, soffits, fascia, gutters and downspouts. They also removed two balconies and installed new custom made aluminum balconies (including all of the structural framing to support the balconies). They installed new James Hardie siding, aluminum soffits and fascia, and seamless gutters and downspouts (with leaf guards). I couldn't be happier with how the process went from start to finish. I was very pleased with the work that CHI did replacing my roof. Jim met in person for the estimate, and reviewed options and what needed to be done, suggesting enhancements like a new bath fan, additional venting, which were really needed on my older home. The work crew was wonderful the day they were here, answering questions, etc. and did a really great clean up job. Communication on the timing of the job was also well done. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

This is our second experience with Craftsmen and we would give them 100 stars if we could! We had hail damage to our home in 2013. It was a daunting experience of selecting the right contractor, hoping they would live up to their promises and also be able to meet our expectations (and our expectations run HIGH!). We selected Craftsmen Home Improvements to install our new roof and they did an excellent job! From our initial contact through the installation and clean up, communication was great and they did what they said they would do. They were easy to do business with and we would choose them again.
