We’re truly sorry to hear you’re frustrated. When you contacted us, the service performed was an emergency snow and ice removal to stop active leaking and make the area temporarily watertight. Emergency repairs during winter conditions are intended to act as a short-term solution — essentially a band-aid — to prevent immediate interior damage. Ice dam and snow-related leaks are often symptoms of a larger underlying roofing or ventilation issue. Removing the ice does not permanently correct those deeper conditions. That’s why we always recommend scheduling a follow-up inspection once weather conditions allow, so we can properly diagnose and address the root cause. When new snow accumulates, the same vulnerable area can leak again if the underlying issue has not yet been permanently repaired. A long-term solution typically involves corrective roofing work beyond emergency mitigation. We would absolutely welcome the opportunity to come back out, evaluate the bigger issue, and provide options for a permanent fix. Please reach out to our office so we can coordinate a time to properly assess and resolve this for you. — EAS Roofing
