Michelle, this is what we mean when we say "We Hop To It!" If something that we did wasn't right, we make it right! Dustin is awesome and really takes his time to make sure when he leaves there is never anything to worry about again!

Danis, This is why we Hop To It! Our team is our lifeblood, and we always want them to be our looking for ways to go above and beyond for you!!! It is so wonderful to hear this was the experience for you. We cannot wait to help you in the future!

Dear Anthony, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We looked into this and discovered a couple of items that we believe are imperative for you to know. Pete was your roofing specialist and holds the highest certifications from Certainteed that you can achieve. He is actually a "shingle master wizard." Our specialists meet each morning to review each client and the issues they encounter on roofs as a team so they all can learn from each out. Becuase of this they are experts when it comes to diagnosis and client relations. Communicating and taking care of you is the #1 priority. The diagnostic fee is to cover the cost of the inspection. We do not just pass on those hard costs to the next client. Additionally, you do receive a 27 point written inspection and photo report whenever we come out along with dealing with a team that is licensed, insured, certified, drug screened, and background checked. In this situation your roof is a 2/12 shingle roof which is the absolute lowest pitch roof you can have and still have shingles. It actually requires a full ice and water-shield under the shingles due to the low slope. Additionally there were multiple previous repairs to the roof (many instances of roof tar) on the slope that you were having the leaking. This compounded with no attic space meant that we could not definitively tell you the exact cause of your leak. Unfortunately, where you see the water on the ceiling does not mean that is where the water is coming into the home. At that point a small repair was not an option from our perspective. When we do repairs we provide a Leak Free Guarantee and there was no way on that roof we could guarantee that without replacing the majority of that slope. The reason Pete brought up a roof replacement was because once replacing the back slope was the permanent solution, he knew doing that replacing the front would not be much more and you would then have a complete roofing system. We always want to provide our clients with options and to know their costs. We are very sorry to hear that we did not get to help you with the repair, but wish you the absolute best and look forward to help you in the future. We want each client to feel great about their experiences with our team and it sounds like that did not happen and we would love to remedy that. You can contact one of the owners, Bill Burkhardt Jr, at 586-255-5934 (his cell) or billjr@kanga-roof.com (email). He would be happy to help.

Marion, Thank you very much for sharing you experience. We know that when you have a leak timeliness is imperative, and we appreciate you decision to choose Kanga Roof. As a family owned and operated company this means the world to us! Thank you again!
