We were put in a bind when another contractor left us with only a tarp over our head. George and team at GKG Roofing were able to come out immediately and see what our situation was. They were able to schedule us on a Sunday (very surprised) to complete the work. The roof looks great and most importantly no leaks!!!

Thanks Matt, It is unfortunate that the other contractor left you in a bind. Obviously after not being able to push insurance into a complete roof replacement. They decided your need of help with your roof was not important. I am sure if insurance was completely replacing roof they would have came back. Well let's at least hope they would have. George is amazing! We had no idea where to begin with getting a whole new roof, but George took the time to sit down with us, show us his credentials, all our options, recommendations, etc. There was never a doubt in our minds that he was leading us astray. The day that they started the work, they were on time and got right to work. Jess , I appreciate the comments. At the initial inspection I knew you folks had an extreme ventilation problem. Due to the cold temperatures the morning of starting. My thoughts were confirmed, the roof sheeting actually had frost. On the under side of the roof sheeting when we removed it. Clearing the soffit vents and installing an efficient ridge vent system. Will keep the new roof sheeting and roofing assembly in good condition for many years to come. And yes let's not forget a healthier home. Thank you again ,George

The short story is: same day service, very conscientious about their work. Noticed a leak in our kitchen and called GKG after seeing positive reviews on Google. By the end of the day, Lonnie had been to the house, looked at the problem and enacted a repair. Not only that but while on the roof, he noticed a crack in the cement cap to our chimney and ran a quick line of sealant into it so it would hold through the winter, and recommended we get it looked at by a mason in the spring. Thank you for the review, same day service can be tough but we do our best. I often find contractors only addressing what they are there to do. If it is not something we do , we at least want to bring it to our clients attention. Small problems left unattended turn into big problems.
