I couldn’t be more pleased with GKG. I was pleasantly surprised that the owner was the person who came out for the inspection and I didn’t have to deal with a sales person. George is a straight shooter and will tell you what needs to be fixed without trying to upsell. Lonnie did the work between rain drops perfectly and professionally. Truly a great experience for an obviously unpleasant situation!

We had some property damage from a recent storm where a tree fell on our house and George came out to assess the damage. He was very thorough with checking our roof. Any other business owner may have taken advantage of us, knowing that insurance money was involved, but not George. He was very honest, walked the roof, checked the attic and said our roof was not damaged. He even told us our roof looked so good, that we shouldn't need a new one for 10 years. George was great to work with making improvement suggestions. The new gutters look great and the workmanship is excellent. Lonnie of Columbus Roof Clean power washed the roof and it looks like new. We are very pleased with the finished project.

I was impressed that Mr George Gilliland, himself, was the sales rep. During my initial meeting and follow-ups as well. I so appreciated his honesty about my job. Other roofing companies I interviewed, although I wanted quotes for roof and gutters, gave me pricing for both. One reviewing gkg roofings proposal, I noticed gutter replacement cost were missing. When I inquired about this, Mr George stated he did not want to charge me for something that was unnecessary as I did not need new gutters. ... Read more
