He crawled around in the attic with me until we were able to pinpoint the cause and address the issue directly. I met with George, owner of GKG Roofing, for an estimate on a new roof. Facts were presented at the presentation not a lot of sales pitches. The price was competitive, quality of the shingles were good and the guarantee on the work and materials was very good. The crew installing the roof were professional, friendly and hard working completing the job in 2- days as George said they would. Called to set up an estimate for a second opinion on a minor siding repair. George the owner stopped by within a couple of hours. Gave a much better price with no need for new materials. He had one of his crew out later the same day to conduct the repair and also inspect our roof. Lonnie found a couple verry minor issues that he said could cause us future problems and then proceeded to take care of them on the spot. Jerry ,thank you for the review. I must say I was baffled to hear that another contractor. Was trying to get you to file a claim to replace your siding. Upon inspection the siding is in GREAT condition. Just one or two pieces slightly unlocked. It never ceases to amaze me. What some people/contractors will do to try and sell a job. It was totally misleading and unethical. The minimal repair needed would not have even came close to exceeding your deductible. You would have had a claim on your policy with no coverage. Kudos to you for getting a second opinion! Your roof and siding will serve you well for many more years. Thanks again, George
