We bought a house with an older pool last year and had a slow start to the season when one outdated piece of equipment after another failed. Goudy Pools ended up replacing the pump (now quiet and energy efficient), replacing the filter (so much easier to clean!) and replaced the salt system. Owning a home is tough, we already know that. Owning a home with a pool is a wonderful luxury, but it can come at a cost, literally and figuratively.
