This project includes a spacious 40x60 structure accompanied by a 46x40 garage and a welcoming 10x60 porch. The concrete floor is 4 inches thick, reinforced with rebar for extra durability. We frame the structure using 2x6 walls with studs positioned 16 inches on center. Additionally, 2x4 wall girts and clear span trusses, aligned 2 feet on center, ensure solid construction, while 2x4 roof purlins also placed every 2 feet to provide further support and meet snow load specs. To enhance aesthetics, the barndominium features striking white and black colors. At Graber Custom Structures, we prioritize quality and strength by installing insulation and a vapor barrier beneath the metal roof and utilizing house wrap on the sides. This approach ensures customer comfort by regulating temperature and preventing moisture intrusion.
