I'm a big fan of metal roofing because it's not made from oil, it weighs less than the asphalt shingles increasing the load carrying capacity of your house, and it's okay to insulate directly under the roof sheathing. We got several estimates for a skylight replacement job. Their in person quote was the most well informed, as well as the lowest of all we got. BUT- unlike the others, they also told us how by adding a small upgrade, the whole job qualifies for a 26% tax credit, so their quote became even lower by comparison. Guinivere, Nigel and their team were amazing. They came to fix our roof after a big storm, and set realistic expectations about what we needed done and the timeframe it can be done in. They know their stuff: Guinivere picked out the perfect shingle color match . . . from the ground!
