This project was a complete roof replacement. The homeowner was experiencing heavy leaking coming from their roof. After calling Grand Exteriors, we conducted a full 22 point roof inspection and determined that the roofing system was at its end of life. With heavy granular loss and extremely brittle shingles the roofing system was no longer functioning as intended. During the roof replacement process we discovered that over 18 sheets of sheathing had become rotten due to water penetrating the system. We installed a state of the art GAF HDZ roofing system, with ice and water shield / synthetic underlayment and beautiful Fox Hollow Grey laminated architectural shingles! This project consisted of removal of old roofing system and trusses with the installation of new trusses and roofing system. A local contractor was installing an addition on a home and called us in to remove the old roofing system including the framing and to install the new trusses and GAF HDZ roofing system. After only 3 1/2 days we were able to complete this entire project! This new roof not only looks stunning but will ensure the home and family is protected for years!
