When storm damage left Bob Jackson’s Piqua, Ohio, castle-like estate in need of a new roof, Great Roofing and Restoration stepped in to turn a challenge into an opportunity. The result? A stunning transformation that earned us a 2024 DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor of the Year award.


Bob chose the DaVinci Multi-Width Slate roof in Smokey Gray, a durable, elegant, and long-lasting roofing solution that perfectly complements the stately character of his home. By replacing the aging synthetic Spanish tiles with this composite slate roof, we elevated the curb appeal, enhanced the home's value, and preserved the integrity of its iconic copper accents.

Shake Roof Replacement in Columbus Ohio

We upgraded this shake roof replacement in Columbus Ohio using DaVinci Single-Width Shake in the color Mountain. These shakes provide the natural look and texture of hand-split cedar with varied textures and subtle shifts in color and shading for a timeless, authentic appearance.

Spoke with Scott and meet for initial inspection. He said it would qualify for wind damage and suggested I submit a claim. I had the insurance policy for 10 years and had never filed a claim. He was very friendly and helpful but when I asked for a price multiple times he didn’t wanted to give a price until after finding out what insurance said. I cannot say enough good things about this company and about Matt and Mike. They were very nice and came out in days after contacting them about our roof. They took care of every single thing. We didmt have to do anything! It was the easiest process! Our new roof was put on within weeks and it was perfect! I recommend these guys to everyone who mentions needing a new roof or other repairs. They make the process incredibly easy and enjoyable! Will definitely use again when needed!!!!

Jake from Great Roofing and Restoration was extremely helpful from start to finish in getting my roof replaced. He was knowledgeable with the products and application. He and his team at GR&R worked with my insurance company to get it fully covered. The crew had my new roof on in one day and left my property in order.
