We replaced the roof on this historic building in Uptown Westerville a while back, which is home to Columbus Running Company and MC Painting. Recently the owner reached out again after noticing ongoing water issues. While a new roof is a major upgrade, it doesn’t always solve every problem especially in older buildings where other exterior systems may be failing.
In this case, the gutters were the issue. They weren’t properly directing water away from the structure, leading to overflow, drainage problems, and noticeable water spots on the interior ceiling. We returned to replace the old gutters and ensure the full system is working together to protect the building.
