Neighborhood Connection & Proactive Inspection Leads to New Roof

When we start a roofing project in a neighborhood, we always take the time to introduce ourselves to neighbors. Roofing work is noisy and disruptive for neighbors too, and we want to make sure they know who to contact with any concerns or questions. If no one is home, we leave a door hanger with our contact info so they know we’re just around the corner.

In this case, a homeowner in Avon reached out after seeing one of our door hangers. He wasn’t experiencing any issues but figured it couldn’t hurt to have his roof inspected since we were already working nearby. That proactive mindset paid off & we discovered wind damage that had gone unnoticed!


We worked closely with his insurance company to ensure the damage was properly documented and approved. In the end, he received a brand-new roof and we’re now working on a few of his nearby rental properties as well.

Very disappointing experience overall. Work started late and lacked clear communication. The crew seemed rushed and careless on site. Materials used did not match what was promised. Several mistakes were noticed after completion. Roof still leaks despite “repairs.” Follow-up calls were ignored or delayed. No proper inspection was done before leaving. Not satisfied with the roofing service. Price did not match the quality delivered. Workers showed little attention to detail. Delays were never properly explained. Problems were blamed on weather. No responsibility taken after complaints. Overall, a bad experience.
