With the roof being only 5 years old, it was clear a full replacement wasn’t necessary—just a focused, high-quality repair. As always, we were happy to provide a thorough and honest inspection to determine the best course of action.
Here’s what our team did to resolve the issue and prevent future leaks:
- Removed and replaced shingles along the valley at the back of the home
- Installed ice and water shield in the valley for added protection
- Removed and replaced step flashing and valley metal at the low-slope transition

From start (Roof inspection), to finish (Complete roof repair, down to the a-frame) including clean up the job was done to perfection. Jonathan also handled all aspects of dealing with the insurance company. Any questions I had were answered with a returned call from Jonathan, regardless of time of day, he was professional and quite personable, as I told Cassie, I would invite Jonathan to the Family Thanksgiving Dinner. I would, and I will refer Great Roofing to friends and family.
This made my insurance claim go very smooth. Since the first day I called, Jason was very helpful and got the job done. All I had to do was pick the color and Jason and his team took care of everything else and it looks great.
