When storm damage left Bob Jackson’s Piqua, Ohio, castle-like estate in need of a new roof, Great Roofing and Restoration stepped in to turn a challenge into an opportunity. The result? A stunning transformation that earned us a 2024 DaVinci Masterpiece Contractor of the Year award.


Bob chose the DaVinci Multi-Width Slate roof in Smokey Gray, a durable, elegant, and long-lasting roofing solution that perfectly complements the stately character of his home. By replacing the aging synthetic Spanish tiles with this composite slate roof, we elevated the curb appeal, enhanced the home's value, and preserved the integrity of its iconic copper accents.

Shake Roof Replacement in Columbus Ohio

We upgraded this shake roof replacement in Columbus Ohio using DaVinci Single-Width Shake in the color Mountain. These shakes provide the natural look and texture of hand-split cedar with varied textures and subtle shifts in color and shading for a timeless, authentic appearance.

🏠✨ Transformation of Sienna Park Townhomes in Lakewood, Colorado

We were called to complete an inspection at Sienna Park Townhomes, a 9-building complex in Lakewood, Colorado, due to reported leaks in two of the buildings. Following a thorough inspection, the HOA board decided it was time for a complete roof replacement.


The transformation is remarkable—the previously brown roofs have been replaced with GAF ArmourShield II shingles in the sleek, modern color Pewter Gray. These shingles not only enhance the aesthetic of the townhomes but also provide superior impact resistance and durability, making them an excellent choice for Colorado’s unpredictable seasonal weather.


This upgrade ensures long-lasting protection for the community and gives the entire complex a refreshed and polished look.

We filed a claim for hail damage to the roof of our four unit condo building in Summit County. Great Roofing was recommended by our insurance agency, along with three others. I called each one. Bahman Moquim, the Sales Manager from Great Roofing was the only one to call back promptly. We had a roof installed by Great Roofing in the fall of 2016 due to a hail storm in July. The initial install went fine; however, we discovered an issue with the shingles in the spring of 2018 that turned out to be a manufacturer's defect from Owens Corning. We started the warranty process in July 2018; however, we didn't get a new roof until April 2019 due to Owens Corning dragging their feet on reimbursement. We have a historic home and it was needing some repairs to soffits and roof. Nick came right out and gave us a quote for the job, he got teams scheduled for us and even assisted with getting the work approved by the Historic Commission. The crews that came to do the work were courteous, very hard working and cleaned up daily.
