We recently completed our tallest project to date! A CertainTeed SMARTCOAT™ roof coating on the Ohio Public Employees Retirement Systems (OPERS) building in downtown Columbus. SMARTCOAT creates a watertight, UV-resistant, and weatherproof barrier, offering unmatched direct-bond adhesion and outstanding ponding water resistance. Great Roofing & Restoration are absolutely phenomenal! I live in a condo and noticed three water spots happen in a couple of hours due to severe ice damming at the front entry. It was so bad that I couldn’t even open the front door as it was blocked with ice. I reached out to our HOA and they contacted Ryan immediately. Very disappointing experience overall. Work started late and lacked clear communication. The crew seemed rushed and careless on site. Materials used did not match what was promised. Several mistakes were noticed after completion. Roof still leaks despite “repairs.” Follow-up calls were ignored or delayed. No proper inspection was done before leaving. Not satisfied with the roofing service. Price did not match the quality delivered. Workers showed little attention to detail. Delays were never properly explained. Problems were blamed on weather. No responsibility taken after complaints. Overall, a bad experience.
