About the Founder
Born and raised in Morelia, Mexico, Jose M. Hernandez is a husband and father of five. In 1995 and at the age of 16, Jose immigrated to the United States, where he was introduced to the roofing industry. He would acquire his knowledge and talent by studying and observing those around him. In 2006, Jose took the skills he learned and f ounded Hernandez Contractor LLC. The rest is history! For more than ten years, Jose has happily served the Delmarva community. Jose recognizes that life is more than just work. He loves to bring joy to others and have a good time with the ones he loves. If he is not doing any of those, you can find Jose near with the water with a fishing rod in his hand!

The working crew showed up on time and got right to work. They had to replace about 15 roof tiles and a piece of flashing near the peak of my roof. They finished in about 30 minutes, cleaned up the yard and went on to their next assignment. I highly recommend them to everyone.
The good: Scheduling an assessment was easy and they were able to come out the next day. I got a confirmation email when I booked, as well as a reminder an hour before they arrived.
The bad: I called 4 times over the next three weeks asking for the proposal, and was told each time that they would have it out to me before the end of day. Proposal never came. Finally I had another company come out for an assessment, and had them replace my roof.
These guys saved me a lot of problems. Had some roof damage from a storm and another storm was coming. They were able to repair my roof and prevented any further damage.
I would recommend them without hesitation.
Jose did did a first class repair on our roof. He cleaned up afterward and came back caulk the gutter. His price was very reasonable too.
