About the Founder

Born and raised in Morelia, Mexico, Jose M. Hernandez is a husband and father of five. In 1995 and at the age of 16, Jose immigrated to the United States, where he was introduced to the roofing industry. He would acquire his knowledge and talent by studying and observing those around him. In 2006, Jose took the skills he learned and f ounded Hernandez Contractor LLC. The rest is history! For more than ten years, Jose has happily served the Delmarva community. Jose recognizes that life is more than just work. He loves to bring joy to others and have a good time with the ones he loves. If he is not doing any of those, you can find Jose near with the water with a fishing rod in his hand!

      This is actually the second time I had the opportunity to use Hernandez roofing. I had a storm blow some shingles off my roof and I called Hernandez as I had done previously. The repair was done in three days and they mailed me an invoice within five days. The service representatives are polite, courteous, and understand you want this done ASAP. Trust me, I rarely do reviews, but their service is outstanding and I highly recommend them. Thank you!
