Loved Holencik in the beginning. Gave many recommendations. As time went on, we found the transition from lower garage roof to the side of the house we’re not executed properly. When pulling our carpet to replace the flooring in the dining room, we found that there was water damage in the wall and floor. This cost four thousand dollars to repair the wall and floor. Cindy, I am sorry you feel this way about the problem you were having. We installed the roof 17 years ago in 2006. The problem you had most likely was from when the house was built. They did not install a piece of flashing where the siding and roof meet. We see this problem often. In present time we now have more education and information on what is happening and the piece of flashing is now a code requirement. However if you look at most homes they do not have this piece of flashing installed. When you called us out in 2021 when the damage was discovered we came out and installed the piece of flashing at no charge. When you called us in 2021 it was stated that we installed the siding in that area. We installed the siding on the back wall of the garage and the back wall of the main house. The wall that was leaking was the Main house right side. I have no record of you calling me after my technician came out to resolve the issue. I am sorry that you have lost confidence in us, however we are learning new techniques all the time. One of the reasons why the building codes change is because things occur like this and when they are discovered a new way to install it is created and implemented into code requirements. Again I am sorry you are having an issue and unsatisfied with the code required resolution when we came out in 2021.
