We had our roof and some gutters done almost a year ago. We had some bad experiences with contractors doing work on or in our house so we were a bit nervous. But Holencik Exteriors did a great job! Pre-job meeting and discussions about my new roof installation were very good, as was the quality of the materials they used.
However, there was a lack of supervision during the installation. Fortunately, I monitored the install and phoned their management at least three times when I spotted errors. Management then stopped by and instructed the work crew to make corrections. One worker did a poor job of cutting my mineral board siding to install flashing under it. Dave, We are glad your overall experience with your roof, flat roof, and gutters was good. I checked our customer database and we do not have any record of any issues with the siding. Our records also show that we have been to your home twice for your roof inspections which were included in your work contract. This issue was not mentioned to our technicians on either visit. I understand there was an issue with the downspout after a wind storm and you called in for a warranty issue. We have clients that call in for warranty issues and sometimes it ends up not being our work. So we now explain to clients that when we get there if it is determined not to be our work we have a charge for us to come out to assess the issue. That is our procedure.
We had Holencik repair the slate roof on one our out building and install rain gutters with leaf covers on then. Their service was very good and they cleaned up everything before they left.
