Malarkey Highlander Roofing and Decking Work in Indianapolis

Project Description

A house and detached garage in Indianapolis, Indiana were the two structures included in this roofing project. Malarkey Highlander 242 architectural shingles in Storm Gray were selected for the new roofing, with matching RidgeFlex ridge shingles and SmartStart starter shingles.

Decking work became a significant part of the build. The crew used 44 sheets of OSB during the July 2026 work after identifying spaced roof boards and plywood delamination. The roof installation scope also included hip-and-ridge shingles, chimney flashing, step flashing and wall flashing. ABC PRO-Guard 20 synthetic underlayment, black drip edge and gutter apron were among the supplied components.

The project was arranged as customer-paid work. An updated supplemental estimate added the OSB decking to the insurance documentation.
