Roof and Gutter Replacement on a Whiteland Home

Project Description

This Whiteland home received a full roof replacement in August 2025. The project included the house before work and after new architectural shingles covered the main slopes and the lower roof section. The roof planes connect around the home’s rear addition and meet at several ridges and transitions. The new shingle courses extend over the worked sections and continue to the roof edges above the beige siding. The finished roof covering extended across several sides of the property. The roofing scope covered the full roof. A separate full gutter order followed the roof phase. The overall work was complete in October 2025.

Dual Brown Roof and VELUX Skylight Replacement with Home-Sale Coordination in Whiteland

Project Description

The Grassy Drive homeowner in Whiteland wanted the roof replacement to begin, and the project was moved into insurance handling so supplementation could proceed on her behalf. The existing skylight and its flashing kit were discontinued, making their replacement a specific supplement item. Carrier depreciation was released after the July 2025 roof work.

Dual Brown IKO Cambridge shingles and matching hip-and-ridge caps were installed with Leading Edge Plus starters. Tarco MS300 ice-and-water protection, ABC PRO-Guard 20 and Black edge metal supported the new roof covering. The house-roof work included 71 linear feet of hip-and-ridge installation, 22 feet of step flashing and chimney flashing. Lomanco static vents and pipe flashing were included in the roofing package.

The roof crew also installed a VELUX FS C04-2004 fixed skylight with its EDL step-flashing kit. Work at the skylight took place while a moving company was active at the property. Furniture was moved and a tarp placed inside to protect the floor. The crew found that decking replacement was unnecessary, and the house roof labor was completed on July 8.

Soon afterward, the homeowner listed the property for sale and needed documentation for the transaction. Indy coordinated with the homeowner and realtor, completed an August 13 roof inspection and sent the report to both. The inspection follow-up concluded that no further roof work was required. A warranty-transfer form was prepared during the same coordination.

These guys are excellent. Extremely professional, reliable, and . communicative. Lavell was my project manager and he was awesome. I had to get him out for quotes several times for a project on a house I was buying (sellers were trying to hide problems and fake fixes but weren't smart enough to get away with it) and Lavell happily kept coming back out and getting me the info I needed each time. When it came time to complete the job, the crew did fantastic work - very thorough and looks great. Th... Read more

IndyRoof & Restoration did a great job from beginning to completion. The field inspector, Mark Sopke, was my initial and ongoing contact through the entire project. Can’t think of anything else he could have done to make the process easier. Highly recommend both Mark and IndyRoof. I even called my insurance agent and told them how good they were.

We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result! We had taken some storm damage (hail and wind) last winter, and IR&R was able to work with our homeowner's insurance to get the majority of the replacement paid for! We are also very happy that IR&R is a certified installer of Malarkey shingles. Funny name, I know, but these might actually be the best shingles money can buy. We went with Malarkey Legacy shingles, as we want... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been creating five-star experiences since 2018 and have built a team that takes the stress out of roofing and home restoration. With over 1,500 five-star Google reviews and a consistent A+ BBB rating, our reputation speaks for itself, but what we are most proud of is how we treat people when things go wrong. We are available 24/7, we offer financing for eligible clients, and we assist homeowners through the insurance claims process from start to finish. One of our customers had a roof replacement approved through insurance after other contractors said it could not be done, and that is exactly the kind of advocacy we bring to every job.

Yes, navigating a storm damage claim is one of the things we do best. When hail, wind, or rain damages your roof, we conduct a thorough inspection with photo documentation so you have a clear record of everything that was affected. We assist you through the entire claims process, working directly with your insurance company to make sure all damage is properly reported and covered. Homeowners across Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and the surrounding Indiana communities have relied on us to get approvals that other contractors could not secure.

Yes, and this is one of the things that genuinely sets us apart. Beyond residential roofing, commercial roofing, and gutter installation and repair, we also offer vinyl siding installation, James Hardie siding installation, window replacement, skylight installation, attic insulation, interior and exterior painting, and water and fire restoration services. We even provide mold removal for homes affected by water damage. Whether your home needs one service or a full restoration after a major event, we handle it all under one roof so you are never managing multiple contractors or wondering who is responsible for what.

It starts with a free inspection. We come out, assess the condition of your roof, take photos, and give you an honest recommendation on whether repair or full replacement makes more sense for your situation. If insurance is involved, we help you through that process as well. Once you decide to move forward, we work with you on scheduling, material selection, and financing if needed, and we keep you informed at every stage. Our goal is to make a stressful situation feel manageable, not more complicated.

Yes, community involvement is a core part of who we are, not just a line on a website. We proudly support Fountains of Hope, which works to provide clean drinking water in third-world nations, and Habitat for Humanity, where we provide free roofing for homes being built or renovated for families in need. For us, being a good roofing company means being a good neighbor, and the work we do in the Indianapolis community and beyond is a reflection of the values we bring to every project we take on.
