Project Description


The North Denny Street roofing project in Indianapolis covered a house and its detached garage under one scope. Together, the roof areas account for 19 squares of shingle tear-off and installation using IKO Cambridge shingles in Earthtone Cedar. The separate garage matters because the scope is broader than a house-only replacement. The order includes synthetic underlayment and ice-and-water membrane in the roofing materials. It also measures 75 linear feet of hip-and-ridge work for the upper roof connections. The shingle system followed the roof-plane transitions of both buildings. Flashing work addressed several different intersections: 47 linear feet of step flashing, 12 linear feet of wall flashing and flashing at a small chimney.

Insurance Roof & Gutter Restoration with Weather Shield Roofing System in Indianapolis, Indiana


This residential insurance restoration in Indianapolis, Indiana involved a full roof replacement and gutter work. The project was documented as an insurance claim, with roofing and gutters identified as the primary trades. The roofing scope used the Weather Shield roofing system on the house and detached structure. The project also included a specialized low-slope roofing installation on the garage, while the main house received the standard roofing installation.


Roofing components included increased ice and water protection, new box vents, and a modified-bitumen (mod-bit) roofing system for the low-slope area. We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result!
