Antique Brown Vista Roofing, Faux-Chimney Removal and Royal Brown Gutters

Project Description

The Slippery Elm Court project in Indianapolis combined an Openly insurance claim with financed retail additions to the house roof and drainage work. The claim concerned a May 16, 2025 loss, and the field inspector supplied photographs and coordinated adjuster meetings before construction. The homeowner chose a Malarkey Vista roofing package, gutter replacement and guards.

Antique Brown Vista AR shingles were paired with matching RidgeFlex 12-inch caps, Arctic Seal and Smart Start. ABC PRO-Guard 20 supplied the synthetic underlayment, while Quarrix StormStop ridge ventilation and Lifetime Ultimate pipe flashings formed part of the roof package. Royal Brown drip edge and gutter apron coordinated with the new gutters. Brown touch-up paint and Clear Geocel sealant were also included in the selected accessories.

The house-roof work included removal of a faux chimney and decking over its opening. The crew completed 102 linear feet of hip-and-ridge work and detached the existing gutter guards in preparation for the drainage phase. A three-sheet OSB decking change was added during production. Roof labor was completed in September 2025, and all project items were confirmed done the following month.

The drainage scope called for 139 linear feet of six-inch gutters, four 3-by-4-inch downspouts and 132 linear feet of gutter guards. Royal Brown gutters were selected with Dark Bronze Gutter RX guards. Roof and gutter work were arranged as successive phases, with the team requesting gutter-installation photographs during completion review. The house therefore received roofing, a changed chimney detail and a coordinated gutter-and-guard package under the same project.

The retail upgrades and decking change were included in the project, with financing for the retail portion. Post-production review led to depreciation follow-up with Openly, while the insurer later confirmed its claim paid and closed.

House Roofing, Planned Redeck and Front-Porch Low-Slope Work on West Morris Street

Project Description

Indy Roof & Restoration completed a house roof replacement on West Morris Street in Indianapolis. The work combined removal and replacement of the laminated shingles with a planned redeck using 7/16-inch OSB.

The roofing scope included 43 linear feet of hip-and-ridge shingles. Crews also installed five linear feet of step flashing, ten linear feet of wall flashing and new flashing at the small chimney.

The front porch received separate low-slope roofing work. Crews installed a two-square base-and-cap roofing system over that porch area.

These guys are excellent. Extremely professional, reliable, and . communicative. Lavell was my project manager and he was awesome. I had to get him out for quotes several times for a project on a house I was buying (sellers were trying to hide problems and fake fixes but weren't smart enough to get away with it) and Lavell happily kept coming back out and getting me the info I needed each time. When it came time to complete the job, the crew did fantastic work - very thorough and looks great. Th... Read more

IndyRoof & Restoration did a great job from beginning to completion. The field inspector, Mark Sopke, was my initial and ongoing contact through the entire project. Can’t think of anything else he could have done to make the process easier. Highly recommend both Mark and IndyRoof. I even called my insurance agent and told them how good they were.

We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result! We had taken some storm damage (hail and wind) last winter, and IR&R was able to work with our homeowner's insurance to get the majority of the replacement paid for! We are also very happy that IR&R is a certified installer of Malarkey shingles. Funny name, I know, but these might actually be the best shingles money can buy. We went with Malarkey Legacy shingles, as we want... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been creating five-star experiences since 2018 and have built a team that takes the stress out of roofing and home restoration. With over 1,500 five-star Google reviews and a consistent A+ BBB rating, our reputation speaks for itself, but what we are most proud of is how we treat people when things go wrong. We are available 24/7, we offer financing for eligible clients, and we assist homeowners through the insurance claims process from start to finish. One of our customers had a roof replacement approved through insurance after other contractors said it could not be done, and that is exactly the kind of advocacy we bring to every job.

Yes, navigating a storm damage claim is one of the things we do best. When hail, wind, or rain damages your roof, we conduct a thorough inspection with photo documentation so you have a clear record of everything that was affected. We assist you through the entire claims process, working directly with your insurance company to make sure all damage is properly reported and covered. Homeowners across Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and the surrounding Indiana communities have relied on us to get approvals that other contractors could not secure.

Yes, and this is one of the things that genuinely sets us apart. Beyond residential roofing, commercial roofing, and gutter installation and repair, we also offer vinyl siding installation, James Hardie siding installation, window replacement, skylight installation, attic insulation, interior and exterior painting, and water and fire restoration services. We even provide mold removal for homes affected by water damage. Whether your home needs one service or a full restoration after a major event, we handle it all under one roof so you are never managing multiple contractors or wondering who is responsible for what.

It starts with a free inspection. We come out, assess the condition of your roof, take photos, and give you an honest recommendation on whether repair or full replacement makes more sense for your situation. If insurance is involved, we help you through that process as well. Once you decide to move forward, we work with you on scheduling, material selection, and financing if needed, and we keep you informed at every stage. Our goal is to make a stressful situation feel manageable, not more complicated.

Yes, community involvement is a core part of who we are, not just a line on a website. We proudly support Fountains of Hope, which works to provide clean drinking water in third-world nations, and Habitat for Humanity, where we provide free roofing for homes being built or renovated for families in need. For us, being a good roofing company means being a good neighbor, and the work we do in the Indianapolis community and beyond is a reflection of the values we bring to every project we take on.
