IKO Cambridge Earthtone Cedar Roof Replacement in Indianapolis, Indiana


Project Description


A homeowner on North Belleview Place in Indianapolis worked with Indy Roof & Restoration on a house-roof replacement in 2025. Our team obtained roof measurements to support the insurance-scope review. Before production, the team also checked roof-pitch measurements. The replacement plan paired IKO Cambridge AR shingles in Earthtone Cedar with matching IKO hip-and-ridge shingles. The house-roof scope included step and wall flashing. The crew instructions also called for removing the satellite dish without reinstalling it. During the September roof work, the crew assessed the decking and reported using five sheets of OSB. The crew also identified two additional box vents above the porch and a split boot to include in the work. A signed change order covered the two box vents and split boot, and the crew obtained those components during the roofing phase. The house roof was completed in September 2025 with the Earthtone Cedar covering and matching ridge shingles. The finished replacement combined the new shingle roof with the decking work and the porch-vent and flashing details addressed during construction.

Duval Drive,Fishers, IN, US

Water Damage Restoration and Roofing on Duval Drive in Fishers


Project Description


Hail damage and leaking inside a Duval Drive home in Fishers led Indy Roof & Restoration to coordinate roof, drainage and interior restoration. Water damage repairs covered a bedroom, great room, sunroom, primary bedroom and water closet. The interior crew completed stain blocking and repainting, with a drywall patch and texture work in the great room and protection of walls and floors during painting. That separate interior order reached completion September 23, 2025.


The replacement house roof used Malarkey Highlander NEX AR shingles in Brilliant Black with matching RidgeFlex hip-and-ridge shingles. Malarkey Smart Start, Arctic Seal ice-and-water protection, ABC Pro Guard 20 synthetic underlayment and Quarrix Flex Roll ridge ventilation formed the assembly. Construction included 119 feet of hip and ridge, 27 feet of step flashing, 21 feet of wall flashing, chimney and pipe flashing, and steep-slope and two-story access. Work began September 17 and reached completion September 18. The new covering and flashing addressed the roof involved in the reported interior leaking.


Roof-adjacent trim received 12 feet of replacement and painting within the roofing trade. Westlake Royal TruExterior trim and metal drip cap were among the materials, with paint matched to the existing finish. This trim work accompanied the shingle installation and its roof-to-wall details.


The Black six-inch gutter system included 62 feet at the first story and 54 feet at the second, totaling 116 feet. Four first-story and two second-story three-by-four-inch downspouts accompanied those runs. Dark Bronze Gutter RX guards covered 59 feet of first-story sections. Gutter labor was complete September 19.


Before construction, Indy Roof & Restoration obtained roof measurements and arranged an interior assessment. The interior estimate and photographs were assembled alongside the exterior scope for the insurance appraisal. Following appraisal, the team coordinated separate roofing, gutter and interior crews for September construction, with each trade receiving its own assignment. On September 24, the field inspector confirmed all work complete and submitted completion photographs to the adjuster for depreciation.

We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result!
