Heather Highlander Roofing and Coordinated Brown Exterior Work on Autumn Ridge Drive

Project Description

The homeowner on Autumn Ridge Drive in Columbus wanted a new roof and gutters after living with a shingle roof last replaced in 2010. Indy Roof & Restoration developed a retail project that also covered the house's soffit and fascia, with color selections coordinated across the roof edge and drainage system.

The house roof received Malarkey Highlander NEX shingles in Heather, paired with matching RidgeFlex caps and brown edge metal and flashing. The roof package included Smart Start starter shingles, ridge ventilation and pipe flashing, while the crew instructions called for photographs of flashing before removal and after replacement. When construction began in January 2026, the crew identified a 3/12 pitch that required ice-and-water protection over the entire roof. The construction-day change recorded ten rolls actually used and three sheets of OSB needed for decking replacement. Management approved the extra protection and the additional decking sheet beyond the contract allowance.

The exterior crews also completed the gutter, soffit and fascia portions of the project. The gutter order covered 111 linear feet of six-inch gutters and four 3-by-4-inch downspouts in Royal Brown. The soffit and fascia order covered 185 linear feet of each along the house's eaves and rakes, with Royal Brown ribbed aluminum fascia and CertainTeed Invisivent soffit in Savannah Wicker supplied for that work. Roofing and exterior deliveries were coordinated in sequence, and the supplier collected leftover shingles before returning for the remaining soffit and fascia pallet.

Before the scheduled work, the project manager asked the homeowner to clear the driveway for deliveries and the trailer and move nearby outdoor furniture away from the house. The roof, gutter and soffit/fascia orders subsequently reached Completed status. A signed certificate of completion followed.

Steep Commercial Roofing on West Hampton Drive in Indianapolis

Project Description

Indy Roof & Restoration completed a customer-paid commercial roofing project on West Hampton Drive at the Butler campus in Indianapolis. The building's steep roof and active college setting made elevated access and pedestrian traffic important parts of the installation planning. The roofing scope included 275 linear feet of hip-and-ridge work, 182 linear feet of step flashing, 131 linear feet of wall flashing and two chimney-flashing details. Portions of the roof were listed at pitches from 12/12 to 19/12, and the crew instructions specifically addressed the risk of falling debris around people walking through the campus.

These guys are excellent. Extremely professional, reliable, and . communicative. Lavell was my project manager and he was awesome. I had to get him out for quotes several times for a project on a house I was buying (sellers were trying to hide problems and fake fixes but weren't smart enough to get away with it) and Lavell happily kept coming back out and getting me the info I needed each time. When it came time to complete the job, the crew did fantastic work - very thorough and looks great. Th... Read more

IndyRoof & Restoration did a great job from beginning to completion. The field inspector, Mark Sopke, was my initial and ongoing contact through the entire project. Can’t think of anything else he could have done to make the process easier. Highly recommend both Mark and IndyRoof. I even called my insurance agent and told them how good they were.

We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result! We had taken some storm damage (hail and wind) last winter, and IR&R was able to work with our homeowner's insurance to get the majority of the replacement paid for! We are also very happy that IR&R is a certified installer of Malarkey shingles. Funny name, I know, but these might actually be the best shingles money can buy. We went with Malarkey Legacy shingles, as we want... Read more

Frequently Asked Questions

We have been creating five-star experiences since 2018 and have built a team that takes the stress out of roofing and home restoration. With over 1,500 five-star Google reviews and a consistent A+ BBB rating, our reputation speaks for itself, but what we are most proud of is how we treat people when things go wrong. We are available 24/7, we offer financing for eligible clients, and we assist homeowners through the insurance claims process from start to finish. One of our customers had a roof replacement approved through insurance after other contractors said it could not be done, and that is exactly the kind of advocacy we bring to every job.

Yes, navigating a storm damage claim is one of the things we do best. When hail, wind, or rain damages your roof, we conduct a thorough inspection with photo documentation so you have a clear record of everything that was affected. We assist you through the entire claims process, working directly with your insurance company to make sure all damage is properly reported and covered. Homeowners across Indianapolis, Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, and the surrounding Indiana communities have relied on us to get approvals that other contractors could not secure.

Yes, and this is one of the things that genuinely sets us apart. Beyond residential roofing, commercial roofing, and gutter installation and repair, we also offer vinyl siding installation, James Hardie siding installation, window replacement, skylight installation, attic insulation, interior and exterior painting, and water and fire restoration services. We even provide mold removal for homes affected by water damage. Whether your home needs one service or a full restoration after a major event, we handle it all under one roof so you are never managing multiple contractors or wondering who is responsible for what.

It starts with a free inspection. We come out, assess the condition of your roof, take photos, and give you an honest recommendation on whether repair or full replacement makes more sense for your situation. If insurance is involved, we help you through that process as well. Once you decide to move forward, we work with you on scheduling, material selection, and financing if needed, and we keep you informed at every stage. Our goal is to make a stressful situation feel manageable, not more complicated.

Yes, community involvement is a core part of who we are, not just a line on a website. We proudly support Fountains of Hope, which works to provide clean drinking water in third-world nations, and Habitat for Humanity, where we provide free roofing for homes being built or renovated for families in need. For us, being a good roofing company means being a good neighbor, and the work we do in the Indianapolis community and beyond is a reflection of the values we bring to every project we take on.
