Project Description


Indy Roof & Restoration replaced the shingle roofing on this Grassy Bank Drive house in Indianapolis with Malarkey Vista AR in Natural Wood. The house-roof project included removal and installation across 21 roofing squares, with work at the second-story level as well as flashing and ridge ventilation. The crew cut in ridge ventilation and installed 77 linear feet of hip-and-ridge shingles. Quarrix ridge-vent components and Malarkey RidgeFlex shingles in Natural Wood were supplied for these parts of the roof. Roof-to-wall connections received 15 linear feet of wall flashing. The project also included 36 linear feet of step flashing, addressing another part of the roof-to-wall work. The supplied roofing materials included Malarkey Smart Start starter shingles and ABC PRO-Guard 20 synthetic underlayment. Malarkey 401 SA ice-and-water underlayment was also supplied for the project.

Project Description


On Camby Village Boulevard in the Indianapolis/Camby area, Indy Roof & Restoration completed a house-only 25-square roof replacement. The specified materials included IKO Cambridge architectural shingles, while the scope included 78 linear feet of hip-and-ridge work. The roofing scope included 3 linear feet of wall flashing and 7 linear feet of step flashing. The scope also extended across the measured two-story and steep-slope sections of the home.

IndyRoof & Restoration did a great job from beginning to completion. The field inspector, Mark Sopke, was my initial and ongoing contact through the entire project. We hired Indy Roof & Restoration (IR&R) to replace our roof and gutters this summer, and we are very happy with the result! We had taken some storm damage (hail and wind) last winter, and IR&R was able to work with our homeowner's insurance to get the majority of the replacement paid for!
